Unconfessed sin separates us from God. It also permits our sin to hang over our hearts and hinder us from having an intimate relationship with God and a clear conscience. If our children live lives of repentance, they will experience all the goodness God has ordained for them. Below is a prayer for your child to live a life of repentance.
For Boys
Lord,
I pray for my child, (name of child).
May he live a life of repentance all the days of his life.
When he sins, help him to repent fast and without hesitation.
Let his repentance be true and sincere, and may he turn from his sin and be changed by Your Holy Spirit.
Reveal to him that Your laws are for his benefit and I pray he’d be happy to obey You.
Create a clean heart within him and give him a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit.
Allow him to remember that You’re faithful and just to forgive his sins when he confesses them to You.
Remove guilt and condemnation from his soul through Your forgiveness and let him experience the freedom that Jesus died to give him.
Show him Your will for his life and help him achieve it.
