Fear is a tactic of the enemy to paralyze us and render us ineffective for the Kingdom of God. We do not have to allow Satan to have that kind of influence in our lives or the lives of our children. Although fear may be strong, the power of God is stronger and can break those strongholds that may be in our lives. The following prayer is a prayer for your child to overcome and resist fear.
For Boys
Lord,
I come to You to pray for my child, (name of child).
Your Word says that You have not given us a spirit of fear. Therefore, I pray that my child would be so full of the Holy Spirit that fear would not be able to penetrate his soul.
1 John 4:8 states that perfect love casts out fear. Allow my child to experience Your love to protect him from fear.
Help him to identify the enemy’s tactics and resist them at their onset.
Allow my child to be confident in You and seek Your ways all his life.
I pray for You to give him wisdom in perilous times to overcome his fears.
Let his faith grow and be strong for the day of adversity.
I rebuke and resist the spirit of fear and proclaim that it has no authority in my life or my child’s life.
Thank you for all You do.
