That’s why I decided to make a printable of these scriptures. I want people to be able to read and carry these scriptures with them.

Scriptures About Praise

scriptures about praise

Praise should be a part of our every day lives. People become dissatisfied with their lives when their attention goes from what they do have to what they don’t have. We will always have unfulfilled desires, but we shouldn’t allow it to forget all that God has already done for us. There are so many things to praise God for, including your health, friends, family, being alive, work, and so much more. That’s why I created this list of scriptures about praise. I pray you find them helpful to you.

Don’t forget, only you can express your thankfulness to God. No one else can do it for you.

All scriptures are taken from the NKJV unless otherwise noted.

Scriptures About Praise In The Old Testament

“Sing to the Lord, all the earth;

Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.
Declare His glory among the nations,
His wonders among all peoples.

For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised;
He is also to be feared above all gods.
For all the gods of the peoples are idols,
But the Lord made the heavens.”

– 1 Chronicles 16:23-26

Now therefore, our God,
We thank You
And praise Your glorious name.”

– 1 Chronicles 29:13 Read more

All scriptures are from the NKJV unless otherwise noted.

“If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.”

Scriptures To Help You Overcome Anger

When my journey with God began, I had a really bad temper. It was easy for me to get mad and offended. I never knew another way to live and needed to overcome this obstacle. The technique I credit for helping me kick that bad habit is affirming scriptures about anger. I read them every day and kept them near my door. I didn’t let myself leave until I said those scriptures. Therefore, I put together a list of scriptures to help you overcome anger too.

All scriptures are taken from the NKJV unless otherwise noted.

Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.”

– Ephesians 4:26-27

“Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.”

– Ephesians 4:31

“But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.”

– Colossians 3:8 Read more
