Get Motivated In Christ

Life presents us with many challenges. Sometimes it seems it would be easier to stop trying. However, we know that’s not an option. Therefore, I will share with you some tips to help you get motivated in Christ to conquer your day to day living.

Get A Dream/Goal

“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”

– Proverbs 29:18 KJV

One of the most life-changing things you can do for yourself and your family is to write down some goals. Get them out of your head and put them on paper. If you don’t even know what you want to accomplish in life, that’s okay. Spend some time praying and thinking about the talents God gave you. The Lord will certainly direct your path if you ask Him to.

When you have a goal you’re working toward and a strong desire for the outcome, it will make the daily grind easier. You will understand it’s worth going through if you want to reach your goals. Jim Rohn once said, “When the why is powerful, the how is easy.”

Keep the end in mind and one day you will get there because you will not allow yourself to give in to the wiles of the devil.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

– Philippians 4:13

Our strength comes from the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, if you’re feeling weak or beat up then spend time with God in prayer. Ask God to send you a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The strength of Christ is not lacking. He can provide you with all the tools you need to live in your calling.

philippians 14:3

There’s going to be times when life seems overwhelming. That’s absolutely normal and it’s okay to feel overwhelmed. Yet, it’s not normal to live in that state for a long period of time. Take that feeling as a warning sign that you need to spend time with God in the Word.

Each morning, pray for God to give you the strength to overcome and conquer that day.

God Is With You.

“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.

– Hebrews 13:5

Did you know God is with you everywhere you go? He hears you, sees, you, loves you, and understands you. Acknowledge Him and speak to Him. Listen for His response and act accordingly.

Also, if you truly believe God is with you, then there’s no reason to be afraid. Nothing is a surprise to God and He’s stronger than anything that exists. He’s your protector and provider. If God has commanded you to do something, what could stop you?

Romans 8:31

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Thinking about these things, what can come against you if God is with and for you? Hell may try to prevail against you, but no weapon formed against you will be able to prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

When you have a goal or a mission from God, go after it with all you’ve got. God is on your side, He’s with you, and He will make sure His will is done on the earth. The safest place to be is in the will of God.

One of my favorite sayings goes, “Work like it depends on you and pray like it depends on God.” You both are a team and need to work together daily to reach your maximum potential.

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

– Romans 8:37-39

The love of God is the most powerful force found in the entire universe. Therefore, nothing will be able to separate us from His love.

Romans 8:28-29

The word of God tells us that we can be more than conquerors through the Lord Jesus Christ. Whenever you come across a challenge, think how could you not only overcome this obstacle but how could you come out better than before? Don’t let life try to make you its victim. Tell anything coming against you that the Lord Jesus Christ is with you and will give you strength and power to defeat the enemy.

A Great Future

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

– Jeremiah 29:11

The Lord knows everything. He’s created you wonderfully and has wonderful plans for your life. All things in this life are temporary. At the moment, it may seem like our troubles will last forever. However, that’s simply not true. All things pass away, but the Word of the Lord endures forever (Isaiah 40:8).

Trust in God to have your best interest. Everything that He tells us to do is for our benefit. Talk to God daily to make sure you two are on the same page, then go after His commandments with everything you’ve got. You will be victorious!

The enemy will do his best to knock us down and make us ineffective for the Kingdom of God, but you don’t have to let him succeed. It’s possible to overcome the negative emotions life brings our way to be more than a conqueror in the Lord Jesus Christ. Get motivated in Christ by going over the above scriptures when needed and reminding yourself of the truths found in the Word of God.
