Believe it or not, it’s not difficult to become born again in Jesus Christ. In fact, the hard work has already been done for us. All we have to do is believe in it. If you want to secure a new life in Christ, follow the four steps below to be born again in Jesus Christ.

Meet With Jesus

Go to Jesus in prayer. Humble yourself and repent of your sins. Recognize that He’s the door to heaven and there’s no other way to God except through Him.

“I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.”

– John 10:9

The Divine Revelation

The only way for anyone to truly grasp who Jesus is is by divine revelation through the Holy Spirit. For a person to be changed, they must be born again. This only happens when God takes off the veil of our spiritual minds and allows us to see Jesus for what He is, the final sacrifice for our sins.

If you haven’t had this experience yet, pray for God to reveal Himself to you. If you’ve been revealed Jesus’s true nature and position in heaven, meditate on it. Jesus on the cross has the power to change our souls. Let it.

Accept & Recieve It As True

Respond to this divine revelation as being true. If God has shown you the only way to heaven, embrace it. Repent and show your gratitude to the sacrifice of Jesus through obedience. Don’t continue living as if nothing has changed. The blood of Jesus has the power to save your souls.

“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

– John 14:21

Confess Your Faith

“Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.”

–  Matthew 10:32-33

Once you become a born-again believer in Christ, tell people. There’s no use in trying to continue living as if your spirit has not encountered something different than yourself. For one, the Holy Spirit now lives within you. Everything that God is can now be found inside of you. You’ll have new desires and callings.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

– 2 Corinthians 5:17

Many new believers cannot shut up about Jesus and I believe that’s normal. The sacrifice of Jesus is the most amazing occurrence of mankind. Don’t shut up about it! The world needs the gospel.

Conclusion

In order to become born again in Jesus Christ, you must truly believe that His sacrifice was enough to cover your sins. It’s more than just a prayer, it’s a full belief in Him as the Messiah. You can say anything you’d like, but without divine revelation and acceptance of that revelation as true, you won’t change.

Therefore, take these 4 steps if you want to be born again in Jesus Christ:

• Meet with Jesus.
• Ask for divine revelation and for God to reveal Himself to you.
• Respond to that revelation as true and receive it as your own.
• Confess your belief in Jesus.

By doing these things, you’ll be inviting the Holy Spirit to live within you and once that happens, your life will be changed forever.
