Recently, I had the idea to teach my son about the fruit of the Spirit found in Galatians chapter five. I went searching online and couldn’t find what I was looking for and was not interested in buying a lesson. Therefore, I decided the best thing I could do was to create a kid’s bible study about the fruits of the Spirit myself.
They came out way better than expected and my son truly enjoyed them. They’re simple enough for a six-year-old, but can be used to teach older kids as well. After all, the lessons from the Bible are timeless.
It’s important to begin teaching your children (or grandchildren) biblical character traits from a young age before the world gets its hands on them. Satan works very hard to corrupt children from a young age and it’s our duty as parents to teach them the way of God and His Word early on. This is not optional for Christian parents.
“Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.”
– Proverbs 22:6
After successfully creating this bible study about the fruits of the Spirit, I wanted to share them with others who may need them. Of course, they’re free because I would never charge someone for a document or lesson I created for my homeschool. That means you can download them for free if you’re interested!
Also, there are a lot more free resources and printables that can be found on the resource library page. If you decide to download, I pray it’s a blessing to you and your family.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”
– Galatians 5:22-23
