Immorality is something that is given to believers in Christ as a byproduct of being born again. When we accept Christ, our spirit becomes alive and full of the Holy Spirit. Athanasia expressed more than just deathlessness. It suggests that life would be enjoyed because the dying bodies would be swallowed up by life.

This word means “incorruption.” It’s used of:

This can be compared to the eternal punishment that follows those who reject the cross and all that it means. Their soul also lives forever but in a state of anguish and despair.
